ormandy Park Parks & 
Recreation had a fun-
filled summer for our 
youngest community members! 
The city was excited to have 
Teacher Ashley and Teacher Nikki 
put on their fun summer camp hats 
and offer an amazing experience 
for preschool-aged children! Our 
preschool summer camps gave 
children opportunities to get active, 
explore the outdoors, get creative, 
and make new friends through 
engaging, hands-on activities. 
From water play and outdoor 
games to arts and crafts and nature 
exploration, each camp offered a 
chance to learn and have fun in 
a welcoming park and recreation 
environment.
The summer fun continued 
with Fun Fridays at Marvista 
Park, offering families additional 
opportunities to get outside and 
enjoy recreation together. Held 
throughout July on July 10, 17, 
24, and 31, Fun Fridays brought 
kids together for afternoons of 
play, movement, and community 
connection.

seeing our youngest residents play, 
explore, and enjoy  
their parks! We also loved having 
their parents join in the crafting and
