he City of Normandy Park is pleased 
to continue its partnership with 
the Seattle Southside Chamber of 
Commerce through a series of business mixers 
designed to connect local businesses, community 
partners, and regional leaders. Building on 
successful events in 2024, the 2026 mixers have 
provided opportunities to exchange ideas, build 
relationships, and strengthen connections 
throughout South King County.
The final mixer of the year will be held 
on October 15, bringing the 2026 series to a 
close. Local business owners and community 
members are encouraged to attend, meet fellow 
business leaders, and join conversations that 
support a vibrant, connected local business

community. Grant funds from the Port of 
Seattle are helping to fund this project.
Mark your calendar for October 15 and

Deputy Mayor Sue-Ann Hohimer  spoke at the commu-
nity mixer, connecting with local residents and home-
based business owners to share updates from the City.
