ig changes will soon be 
coming to Marvista Park 
as the City prepares for a 
major park improvement project 
designed to enhance safety, 
accessibility, and the overall 
visitor experience. Pending 
approval by the City Council, 
construction could begin as early 
as this summer.
The proposed project includes 
brand-new smooth sidewalks 
to improve walkability and 
accessibility throughout the park, 
upgraded irrigation systems to 
support healthier landscaping, 
and new planting buffers that 
will add greenery and help 
define park spaces. Visitors can 
also look forward to new park 
furniture and a dedicated food 
truck pad that will create more 
opportunities for community 
gatherings and special events, 
and a bocce ball court!
These improvements are 
part of the City’s ongoing 
commitment to investing in 
parks and public spaces that 
serve residents of all ages.
Because construction may 
overlap with the summer concert 
season, the final two summer 
concerts may temporarily move 
from Marvista Park to City Hall 
Park for this season only. While 
the temporary relocation may 
bring a small change to this 
year’s schedule, the long-term 
improvements planned for 
Marvista Park promise exciting 
benefits for the community for 
years to come.
