WWW.TSPMA.ORG | 3 Note from the Executive Director By Debbie Shedden, Executive Director, Tennessee School Plant Management Association You are holding in your hands the inaugural issue of TSPMA Magazine. TSPMA Magazine will be published quarterly to help our association leadership better connect with our membership... and to help members better connect with each other. It is also a tool to help our vendor community share with our members information about the products and services they provide to help make our jobs easier, safer and more productive. TSPMA Magazine will be a mixture of industry news, member news and feature stories aimed at providing resources to help you best manage your facilities... delivered in an elegantly produced four-color, glossy magazine. If there are subjects you’d like us to cover, people or companies you’d like to hear from, or issues that affect your school district, please reach out to me to discuss adding them to our editorial coverage. This magazine is for you, and I want to hear from you to ensure it serves your needs. TSPMA Magazine is being published in partnership with Colibri Northwest, a custom publishing company based in the Pacific Northwest. Colibri Northwest principal Peter Philips has been producing custom publications like TSPMA Magazine for cities, associations and private companies for more than 40 years. Peter and his team will work with Bill and me to ensure we produce a high- quality, four-color glossy magazine filled with information you need. The magazine is being underwritten by advertising, which we restrict to member companies only. And, if you are a member company, and a TIPS vendor, TIPS will contribute 50% of the cost of your ad. We are excited to present this new, self-sustaining communication tool to association members, and the vendors who support us. If you are a member, I hope you benefit from the magazine and share with me your feedback. If you are a member company, contact Katie Higgins at Katie@ColibriNW.com who can help you implement an advertising program to maximize your exposure to the TSPMA Magazine's Association. Enjoy TSPMA Magazine! Debbie Shedden TSPMA Executive Director Debbie TSPMA Magazine is published by Colibri Northwest for TSPMA.
